The Echunga Community Association is a dynamic group of local residents, dedicated to activities that nurture and promote our community and township. ECA believes in fostering a thriving, interconnected community.

Our Vision:
- Build and foster community connections and engagement.
- Develop, restore and enhance township facilities in partnership with local community groups and the Mount Barker District Council.
- Represent and advocate for Echunga residents.
ECA hosts and participates in local events that bring our community together, connecting people socially and raising awareness of local projects.
We fundraise and proactively pursue grant opportunities to enable us to deliver community projects, events and infrastructure.
We actively support local businesses, forging partnerships with like-minded alliances.
ECA maintains positive relationships with other local community groups, the Mount Barker District Council, our local Council Members and State Government representatives.

Our Current Projects and Events:
- Echunga Main Street Upgrade
- Echunga Community Park
- Echunga Community Breakfast
- Fundraising Events - Bunnings BBQ’s, All British Day, SA Field Day
- Decorating our town for both Tour Down Under and Christmas
- Installation and ongoing maintenance, planting and watering of the planter boxes in the main street and landscaping in the Community Park
- Advocates for Road Safety and Footpaths/Walking Trails around Echunga
- A parent body of the Echunga Resilience Group
We know Echunga has a 'heart of gold' get involved and find out for yourself!
As a not-for-profit group your support helps deliver community projects like the Community Park, run social events such as the Community Breakfast and contributes to our insurance and overhead costs.
By becoming a member you:
- Meet new people and build social connections,
- Create meaningful change in our community and township,
- Are notified and invited to ECA General Meetings, Events, Volunteer Opportunities,
- Can vote at General Meetings on proposals and projects,
- Support our administration/insurance costs and
- Can nominate for a role on the Committee.
