Who are we?

The Echunga Community Association is a group of local residents and volunteers, dedicated to promoting activities to nurture and promote our community. Our vision is to: 
  • create and foster local connections
  • host community events and help build community engagement
  • enhance communication in the town
  • maintain and restore town facilities
  • enhance the appearance of the town, and 
  • liaise with council regarding a new township plan (in addition to other community groups also supporting this effort).

How can you get involved?
​We are always looking for community input and ideas…. and new members!
We also welcome support from non-members who want to:
  • lend a hand by volunteering at our local working bees.
  • attend ECA meetings to learn about our group, our projects and community matters.
ECA Membership will give you voting rights for key decisions that typically revolve around the projects and events we fund to enrich, sustain and nourish our small community. Member meetings are typically only scheduled one at time and held on a bi-monthly basis.

News, events and other information that ECA help to share amongst our community are typically posted at the General Store, Post Office, Echunga Community Times, the Echunga Community Chat (Facebook group) and our Echunga Community Association Facebook page. 

The ECA website hopes to bring together all aspects of life in Echunga; the past, the present and looking to the future. Suggestion Boxes are located at the shop and Post Office. ​

We know Echunga has a “heart of gold”- come along to our meetings, get involved and see for yourself ;). ​​
